After nearly two years, football stadiums in Germany saw sold-out matches as the restrictions around how many fans can attend live matches were scrapped. This meant that Dortmund’s famous ‘yellow wall’ was back in full swing to see the hosts take on a traveling RB Leipzig. Leipzig have managed to turn things around since the appointment of Domenico Tedesco and things would be no different during this fixture. The bulls seemed to be too strong for the home side and inform midfielder Christopher Nkunu was the man running the show yet again, as the young Frenchman had a foot in most of the goals. Haaland was in the matchday squad for this fixture, however, the Norwegian couldn’t find his footing. This victory for Leipzig means that they have beaten Dortmund in both fixtures this season.
