With The quarter finals of the CAF Champions League well underway, Kaizer Chiefs have already placed one foot into the semi-finals after beating Simba 4-0 in the first leg. However, Mamelodi Sundowns were not met with the same fate as they came up against their former coach Pitso Mosimane and Al Ahly. Sundowns were beaten 2-0 leaving it all to play for in the second leg scheduled to take place on 22 May in Pretoria. Teko Modise says “An away goal would’ve made a huge difference” when discussing Downs’ chances of going through to the semi finals. “It’s actually Pitso vs Sundowns,” said Sean Roberts when giving his opinion on the match.
On the latest episode of the Carwash(Proudly brought to you by Heineken), Roberts and Modise also discuss the current coaching situation that is happening at Chippa United have fired Vladislav Heric with a mere two games to go in the DStv Premiership season. Sean and Teko also share their opinions on the rumours of SuperSport United having been sold with Teko saying “The PSL needs to step in and do something about the buying and selling of clubs.” Both Sean and Teko agree with the fact that more background checks need to be done in order for clubs to be bought.
